New for 2018, Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen Restaurant & Caterers is introducing its Mother’s Day Sunday Brunch Menu. For just $19.99 a meal, guests can choose from meals such as Challah Bread French Toast, a traditional Jewish breakfast meal, Nova Scotia Smoked Salmon, served on a toasted bagel with all the fixings, Steak and Eggs and more! All menu items are accompanied by one Potato Pancake with Apple Sauce, Home Fries or French Fries and a choice of Muffins, Rye Bread or Whole Wheat Bread. Lastly, all brunch items come with either bottomless coffee, tea or fountain soda.
In addition to brand new food items, Ben’s Brunch Menu also offers Mimosas, Wine and Virgin Mary’s for just $4.99 per glass, with the purchase of any brunch item. Bloody Mary’s will be available at the Manhattan and Scarsdale locations only.
For those looking to avoid the crowds and celebrate in the comforts of home, Ben’s is also offering a variety of delicious catering options, including, but not limited to, a “Party Platter Plus for 10” for only $169.99 and a “Housewarming Buffet for 20” for $399.80. Phone orders are welcome, and delivery is available.

The new Brunch Menu will be available at all seven locations from 11 am to 2:30 pm starting on Mother’s Day, May 13. The regular menu will also be available all day on Mother’s Day.

The Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen Restaurant & Caterers’ motto has long been that holidays should be a time to kick-back and relax with family, rather than spending long hours cooking and cleaning. Celebrate freedom, and the story of the exodus from Egypt, with the company’s famous Catered Holiday Dinner for 10, featuring mouthwatering gefilte fish, delicious matzo ball soup, fresh-cut coleslaw and more.
According to Jewish tradition, it is forbidden to eat leavened food products, such as bread, because, in their rush to escape from Egypt, the Jews were unable to wait for bread to rise. Instead, they ate matzo, a non-leavening cracker-like food, which has become synonymous with Jewish culture, and its holidays.
In recognition of this custom, Ben’s Complete Holiday Dinner for 10 features 12 matzo balls, along with 10 pieces of gefilte fish, one-quart of chopped liver, four quarts of chicken soup, and macaroons for dessert. The package, which costs $349.90, also includes a choice of three entrées — five roast chickens, a whole roast turkey or four pounds of sliced brisket —and two side dishes, such as broccoli almandine, sweet potato pudding and much more.
Ben’s Friends Preferred Patrons who purchase this complete Holiday Dinner by Sunday, March 25, 2018 will also receive four “Buy-One-Get-One-Free” on-app coupons; a total savings of over $100.
All seven locations are also offering “Holiday Dinner Extra Goodies,” which can be pre-ordered to ensure that every table is full. For those looking to bring a dish – whether it’s an appetizer, dessert, or another signature dish, Ben’s takeout counter has everything you need to complement a holiday dinner.
In observance of the holiday, all Ben’s Kosher Deli locations will close at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 30, and will re-open Sunday, April 8 for normal business hours.

You don’t need to be Irish to feel lucky this St. Patrick’s Day! From March 1 until St. Patrick’s Day, on Saturday, March 17, all seven of Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen Restaurant & Caterers locations, will be reveling in the company’s annual March corned beef celebration. With special combos including sandwiches and traditional corned beef, cabbage and potato platters, it’s really Ben’s proprietary corned beef curing process that truly sets the company apart from other restaurants and delis.
“Unlike many other restaurants, we use only fresh, Kosher USDA choice briskets,” Ben’s founder/owner Ronnie Dragoon states. “We pickle the briskets in each store using an exclusive Ben’s pickling blend and an old-fashioned two-week curing process.” Once curing is complete, Ben’s highly skilled chefs cook the corned beef daily as needed, ensuring a fresh and delicious experience for Ben’s guests.
Initially chosen as a more affordable substitute for bacon, corned beef and cabbage became a tradition among Irish-American immigrants. Its connection to St. Patrick’s Day is the result of Irish-Americans having commonly served the meal during various family and holiday celebrations. Interestingly, what Americans today know as traditional corned beef actually stems from Jewish culture, as Irish immigrants once primarily purchased their meat from Kosher butchers.
It is that traditional eastern European style that Ben’s aims to emulate in its cooking process. “Yes, we cure our own corned beef,” Dragoon adds, “but, don’t forget, our chicken soup cures everything else!”
While Ben’s Corned Beef Celebration Specials only run from March 1 through St. Patrick’s Day, its tasty store-cured, freshly-prepared corned beef is available all year long. In addition to sandwiches and platters, guests can enjoy fresh corned beef in salads, omelets or sliced by the pound to take home.
