Ronnie....For the past several years, every month I have been arranging a catered luncheon for my department of attorneys at a midtown law firm. As they like variety, I order everything from pizza to Chinese food to Portuguese fare. However, I must tell you that when they hear that it is a Ben’s month they all make sure to show up!! Your selections are always spot on and even the vegetarians are thrilled to have their spinach log, kasha knish and salads. I have even started stopping off to pick up wonderful deli to bring home to Marlboro, New Jersey after I introduced my husband to some leftovers from one of our first catered luncheons. Believe me, we could really use a Ben’s out our way as our choice of a good deli is slim to mill in a very Jewish community.

As my downtime is limited and I do not always get to thoroughly read all my email, today was the first time that
I read the entire year’s worth of Ruminations and Ronnifications. The quality of your prolific words, thoughts, memories, etc. match the quality you proudly display in your leadership of food preparation and service. And
although my husband, who hates coming into the City but has me as messenger
to deliver the goods, was anxious to visit your spot in Florida when we
vacationed last March. Other than the weather being better outside at that
time of year, I felt as at home there as in the New York location. I am
looking forward to my lunch delivery tomorrow as I specifically picked
Ben’s for our December luncheon as my way of celebrating Hanukkah at our
firm.

So, value turning 70 this year and keep up the great leadership and
your wonderful writing...which I will never “binge read” again but take a
few minutes each month to mindfully devour. Happy Hanukkah to you and yours
and a happy, healthy and continued success in 2019.

Hi Ronnie,

I had my daughter Lauren's bridal shower at Ben's in Greenvale in April 2016. Everything was perfect. Of course we knew the food would be wonderful but the attention to detail by Seth was beyond expectation. The wait staff of 2 was amazing. They were with us for the full three hours, attending to our guests the moment they asked for anything. The party room was kept spotless from appetizers through the most delicious shower cake and coffee!

I will recommend the Ben's Greenvale party room to everyone. Thank you for the perfect day.

Subject: Thank you

Dear Todd,

Thank you so much for your exceptional work at Hannah’s Bat Mitzvah this past weekend. We had great confidence in you from the very first meeting, and that confidence and excitement grew as we stayed in touch during all of the planning.

We are so touched that you came to our party to make sure it was all we hoped it would be. We are also deeply touched by your sensitivity regarding Leah’s health situation and how your oversight during the party ensured that Hannah could focus on her own celebration and our whole family got a reprieve from our difficult situation to be able to truly enjoy our simcha!

And, of course, let’s not forget that the food was absolutely delicious!! Max is already planning his menu for his own Bar Mitzvah – which is 5 years away!

Please do not hesitate to call on us for a recommendation should you need to do so in the future.

All the best,
Leah, Michael, Hannah & Max S.

Hi Dave. I just wanted to thank you for doing a great job yesterday for our Beth El Congregation. Everyone loved the dinner (including my husband and I). Some had never heard of or knew about Ben's and [were] very impressed. It was a pleasure doing business with you and I hope that in the near future we will use your services again.

Best, Linda M.

Subject: Thanks again for another awesome gift!

Dear Ronnie and Cindy,

Thanks so much for the wonderful gift of the Appreciation Barbeque for the MBI volunteers and the students of The INN's Youth Board.

As always, the food was delicious, the opportunity to have them all gather at one time was inspiring and they were all truly appreciative of the generosity and thoughtfulness you share with us so beautifully and so frequently.

We were also thrilled that the weather finally cooperated with us this year.

We also hope you can extend our thanks to Todd and the remarkable staff who always make everything look so effortless. Considering everyone they fed is involved in feeding people we all thoroughly understand how challenging an effort it truly is with regards to managing all the details.

Thanks again for never ceasing to amaze and inspire us with your exceptional generosity and your never-ending thoughtfulness and compassion. You are both amazing angels here on earth.

Dear David,

Thank you so much for making this a celebration to remember. From the moment I met you and through to the very end of last night you exhibited a professionalism that was unparalleled. You were kind, creative, patient, responsive, and answered every little question of mine with such patience and support. Everyone was raving about the food last night and the party was a smooth success due to you.

Thank you for all your good wishes and if I ever need to cater again I can guarantee I'll be coming to you.

Happy Passover and all the best to you!!

Ita

P.S. Once my sister figures out how to get me some of the photographs I will do my best to send some to you.

David, Thank you for a nice thanksgiving. The turkey was moist and delicious, as was everything else. My computer went "cappuz" so forgive my late "review". Amy
