Q: When I go to register my card, I get an “invalid number” message.
A: Make sure you input your card number without any spaces and that your number is correct. If the problem persists, please email your card number to us. We will investigate.
Q: How do I check my card balance?
A: You can check the balance on your Ben's Friends Cards using your account login (which will display full account details; Username and Password required) or you can check your balance without a login to your full account (the Card # and Reg Code located on the back of the card are required). You can also check a balance at any participating Ben’s Restaurant location.
Q: How do I earn rewards and how much can I earn?
A: Earn 1 point for every dollar you spend at Ben’s. Your points will be automatically converted to Ben’s Bonus Bucks. Save Your Ben’s Bonus Bucks as a discount on your next purchase — dine in, takeout or catering — or save them for a special purchase! Ben’s Preferred Patrons Club Annual Rewards Chart shows how many points are needed for each reward. You will also receive on-card coupons from time-to-time throughout the year as well as special opportunities to earn bonus points.

Q: Where can I buy a Ben’s Gift Card?
A: You can buy Ben’s Gift Card at any participating Ben’s Restaurant location or online with a major credit card at Ben’s secure website.

Q: What happens if I lose my card?
A: Treat your Gift Card like cash. It cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. However, if you registered your Gift Card and email us promptly if it is lost or stolen, we will deactivate the card, investigate and try to recover the card if someone attempts to use it or return it. Please send us your name, address and email address on the account.
Q: Can I use my Gift Card to join Ben’s Preferred Patrons Club to earn rewards?
A: No. In order to join the Ben’s Preferred Patrons Club and earn rewards you will need to obtain a Preferred Patrons Club Card at one of our locations and register that card online.
Q: Do you have an easy way to send multiple Gift Cards to a list of recipients?
A: Please compile a list of the names and addresses (if we will be mailing the cards for you) of the individuals you would like to send Gift Cards to including the amount for each Gift Card. Send us an email with your list and your contact information including phone number. We will contact you for payment by credit card and make the necessary arrangement to ship the cards directly to you for distribution, or mail them directly to your recipient list.
Q: Can we use Ben’s Gift Cards as a fund raiser for our non-profit group or organization?
A: Yes. Gift Cards are available in $25 and $50 denominations. Please email us with the name of your organization, the contact information for the individual running the fund raiser and the number of Gift Cards that you would like to sell. We will contact you with further information, arrange for payment and make the necessary arrangements to get the cards to you.

Q: When I go to register my Preferred Patrons Club Card, I get a “card not active” message.
A: The cashier did not properly activate your card at the cash register. Please email your card number to us and we will activate the card for you. We will email you when this is complete, so that you may then register to redeem your rewards.
Q: How do I check my Preferred Patrons Club Card balance?
A: You can check the balance on your card using your account login (which will display full account details; Username and Password required) or you can check your balance without a login to your full account (the Card # and Reg Code located on the back of the card are required). You can also check a balance at any participating Ben’s Restaurant location.

Q: I have multiple Preferred Patrons Club Cards. What do I do?
A: Login to your account with your user name and password (you must be registered to do this). Select “Manage Accounts.” Click on “Attach Another Card” and follow the instructions. You will need the user name and password for the card you wish to attach (all cards must be separately registered).
When you attach cards, each card maintains its own identity, point totals and rewards. But, you may view all attached cards at the same time by logging in to any one of the card accounts. Transaction histories remain distinct.
Q: I had a coupon on my Preferred Patrons Club Card, but when I went to use it, it was gone. What happened?
A: Preferred Patrons sometimes receive coupons from Ben’s on their cards. Unlike Ben’s Bonus Bucks which never expire as long as the card has activity each year, coupons do expire (just like paper coupons). Expired coupons are automatically removed from your card. If you have signed up to receive emails from Ben’s as part of the Preferred Patrons Club program, you will get an email notification at the beginning of any month when you have a coupon that will expire at the end of that month.
Q: How do I sign up to receive emails from Ben’s?
A: Login to your Ben's Friends account with your username and password. Select “Edit Account Information" in the purple bar. Make sure that you have checked the election to receive emails from Ben’s: "Please inform me about special offers." Also, please make sure your spam filter allows emails from our accounts.
Q: I have coupons and Ben’s Bonus Bucks on my card, but I cannot redeem them.
A: You must register your card to redeem rewards.
Q: Can I still get points or redeem rewards if I forget my card?
A: If you forget your card when you visit Ben’s you can still accrue points, but for security reasons you cannot redeem rewards. To receive points for a purchase when you do not have your card, please ask the cashier to do an account look-up. You may be asked for ID to verify your name and address. Points for that purchase will be added to your card. However, for security reasons, you must physically present your card to redeem all rewards including Ben’s Bonus Bucks, Birthday Bucks and On-Card Coupon rewards. Ben’s employees are NOT permitted to redeem rewards for guests who do not present their cards. This procedure is for the benefit and protection of all card holders.

Q: How do I register my card?
A: You may register online for free. You may also get a paper registration form at any participating Ben’s Restaurant location. Paper registration costs $5, but upon registration you will receive $5 in Ben’s Bonus Bucks on your card.
Q: What happens if I lose my Preferred Patrons Club card?

Q: How do I get a birthday gift on my card?
A: Simply register your card with a valid email address, enter your birth date and be sure to check the option to allow Ben’s to send you email offers (NOTE: You must be opted in to receive email offers to receive your birthday gift). Then, on the first day of your birthday month, based upon how much you have spent at Ben's over the 12 months leading up to your birthday month, a birthday gift will be automatically loaded onto your Ben’s Preferred Patrons Club card or app. You may use your gift at Ben’s anytime during your birthday month… but be sure to visit, because at the end of your birthday month your gift expires and will come off of your card. AT THE CHANGE OF THE PROGRAM YEAR
Q: My points (will) reset to zero, why?
A: Ben's Friends Preferred Patrons Club Program runs on an annual cycle. At the end of the program year points reset to zero and the annual cycle begins again.
Q: What are the dates of the Ben's Friends Preferred Patrons Club program year?
A: Ben's officially started the program on March 1, 2009, so the program year runs from March 1st through the last day in February of the following year as stated in the Preferred Patrons Club Terms & Conditions. Points will reset at the end of each program year.
Q: When my points reset to zero do I lose my rewards also?
A: NO. All the rewards remain in your account and you may continue to use them. Remember that Ben's Birthday Bucks may only be used during the month of your birthday. Also, certain on-card/in-app coupons have expiration dates. Ben's Bonus Bucks NEVER expire, as long as you use your Preferred Patrons Club card at least once a year.
Q: How do I know if I am close to earning reward?
A: By comparing your current point total to the Preferred Patrons Club Annual Rewards Chart you can see how many points you need to earn your next reward. To check your current point balance, use your account login (which will display your full account details; Username and Password required) or check your balance without a login to your full account (Card # and the Reg Code located on the back of the card required). You can also check a balance at any participating Ben’s Restaurant location.

2. Choose the "Account Login" button and type in your User Name and Password.
(If you have forgotten either your user name, your password or both, under the log in button on that page, click on the words that say, "Click here to request a new password" and use the option that best suits your needs. Then click on "Submit". An email will be sent to the email address that you used to set up your account. The email will have both your user name and a new temporary password. Please note that your password will be a mix of letters, some capitals some not, and numbers. Copy it carefully as you will need to use it twice; first to log in and then to change your password. You may now return to the log in page by following the steps above and use this information to log in.)
3. Once you are logged in, you can perform various activities using the menu bar at the top of the page.
- Click on Account Balance to check your current point totals and rewards.
- Click on Transaction History to see all past activity on your card.
- Click on Edit Account Information to reset your password and/or user name.
If you are still having problems, please send an email with your card number, phone number and a brief description of the problem.
