As was written in an old Ben's Deli Newsletter (and actually delivered by the U.S. Post Office) over twenty-three years ago:
"United Parcel Service may deliver to more than fifty countries but Ben's is not far behind. Our employees come from all over the world, countries in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. People from such interesting places as El Salvador, China, Greece, Italy, France, Scotland, Germany, Peru, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Romania, Honduras, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Israel, Argentina, Spain and even Brooklyn contribute to Ben's ethnic diversity."

"Ronnie....For the past several years, every month I
have been arranging a catered luncheon for my department of attorneys at a midtown law firm. As they like variety, I order everything from pizza to Chinese food to Portuguese fare.
However, I must tell you that when they hear that it is a Ben’s month they all make sure to show up!! Your selections are always spot on and even the vegetarians are thrilled to have their spinach log, kasha knish and salads.
I have even started stopping off to pick up wonderful deli to bring home to Marlboro, New Jersey after I introduced my husband to some leftovers from one of our first catered luncheons. Believe me, we could really use a Ben’s out our way as our choice of a good deli is slim to nil in a very Jewish community.
