Giving Something Back: Ben’s Raises $1,313 for The Angel Fund at Winthrop-University Hospital Ronnie Dragoon, Owner-Founder and Hal Simon, Manager of Ben’s of Bayside, presented representatives of Winthrop-University Hospital’s Breast Health Center with a check in the amount of $1,313. These funds were raised during Ben’s “Cancer Ain’t Kosher” promotion to support Winthrop-University Hospital’s Angel Fund, which benefits breast cancer patients in need by providing assistance for expenses not covered by insurance.	Ben’s Friends Preferred Patrons Club: Points Reset to Zero on February 28 As a reminder, the annual Ben’s Friends program cycle ends on Monday, February 29. At that time, all points will reset to zero and you’ll begin earning points for the new program year the following day, March 1. Now is a good time to check your account balance and see if your next Ben’s purchase might add more Bonus Bucks to your balance. Employee Spotlight Adam “The Kaz” Kasner Adam “The Kaz” Kasner joined Ben’s as a teenager, working as a waiter at the Boca Raton location when it first opened in 2004. As his experience with the company grew, Adam took on additional responsibilities as cashier and wait staff trainer. Adam moved to the greater New York area in 2011 to pursue a freelance career in the music industry, but he always knew that he belonged with his family at Ben's, which happily hired him back last year, this time as Dining Room Supervisor at the Manhattan location. Customer Corner From Mother's Day in Greenvale to Birthdays in Bayside "We love coming to Ben's. For over 10 years now, we've made it a Mother's Day tradition to go to the Greenvale location for lunch after spending the morning out. Great food, friendly service and the prices are right. What more could you ask for? "
